Nice, what kind of shows do you do? If there was an Idiot that were to call me Hypo, I would personally cough up a Glob of Mucus, Show it to them, and call them irrelevant. If you don't like your current ENT, then go to another one. There are some ENT's that don't require a Referal. You just call in and they will see you. She ain't bad, haha. This may seem difficult, but stay Focused, haha. Then you'll get all the Girls you want. It's interesting how your Cheeks and Eyes are Puffy. Are your Eyes also Red at times(Often Watery)? I have had that happen to me before. When I would use a Nasal Spray and my Voice Resonation would get better. It depended on what spray it was, but eventually my Voice would get back to where it was. |

I am using the carafate 3-4 times a day to see if this is acid reflux related? all it does so far is cause constipation it is either that or some kind of sinus isse has to be all the other things have been ruled out and I am SURE stress is playing a factor in this it always does I just feel overwhelmed and scared that is is going to ruin my singing career I am a Elvis Tribute Artist |

Carafate isn't exactly effective for the treatment of Acid Reflux. It's primarily used to treat Intestinal Ulcers. You would be better off using Fast Acting Zantac, which does the exact same thing AND treats Acid Reflux. I would also advise asking your Doctor for Nexium. Nexium is a Proton Pump Inhibitor, and it will treat your Acid Reflux for the Long Run. You can take both Medicines at once. Zantac is Fast Acting while Nexium works on reducing Stomach Acid in the Long Run.
Alot of people deal with stress. It may or may not be exacerbating your issue. When is your next appointment(Primary Care or Allergist)? You should also ask your Allergy Doctor to Test you for any Fungal Infections(Thrush) as well as to give you Diflucan(Anti-Fungal Medication). This will rule out any possibility of a Fungal Infection or Sinusitis. You should also ask him/her to Culture your Mucus(Get a Sample for Testing). Culturing your Mucus will also rule out the possibility of a Fungal or Bacterial Infection. I find it awesome that you are an Elvis Tribute Artist. You don't see too many of those around, haha.

My GI Doc, feels he has figured things out he said my problems are 2 1 my surgery the incubation tube irritated my wind pipe and it never healed properly( he now has me on 20 mg of pred. for a month then taper off and 2. my TMJ was triggered so saw my specialist and she agrees and redid my splint and has me doing my relaxing and inner oral massage and taking zan-a-flex at night for sleeping i think after a week it is slightly better this may be the answer!!! will keep you posted!

I have also had a voice problem. My Post Nasal Drip started on May 17, 2012. Soon after that, I have lost the Resonation of my Voice. It's not my Chest that's having an issue and my Vocal Cords work just fine. With my Vocal Cords working fine, I know that it's not Hoarseness. But it's more that I'm not getting the right Voice Resonation in my Nose or my Sinuses. I find this to be odd. I'm not even dealing with Congestion nor do I have an Enlarged Adenoid. If I could get some input, it would be appreciated. Thanks. | You may have a dairy allergy or you can have something called Candida. Both of these conditions can cause post nasal Drip. I have both. Candida is difficult to get rid of. Most things I have read and tried you can only manage it with diet and herbal supplements. Check out a book called the Yeast Syndrome also there is a nutritionist on line "Cynthia Perkins" She has a down loadable book. I never thought I had this condition but I do. I have to live on a strict PALEO diet removing fruit and take the supplements daily. I am still battling and have not got it totally under control. I had to go to a holistic nutritionist for help.

I tested negative for Dairy Allergies and I don't have Candida. Those Paleo diets are rather strict. Has anyone else had my problem? I'm sure there's plenty, haha.
