Unhappy Pulling Sensation In My Ear

help! , i have had this sensation a couple of times but keeps coming back regularly than i wanted it to. everytime i go in a car or a form of transport , my ear pops about 5 minutes after i got in the car etc. when it pops , i swollow and it usually goes but if i sniff or try to pop it , it will come back again. when i lie down the condition gets better but doesn't go away. it usually goes away after 2 hours but it really bugs me. a couple of days ago i tried swallowing , going upside down , my ear popped and then was the same 5 mins later. i fell asleep because i was having a short power nap , when i woke up it completely went , and i can get on normally , but when i get in a car it will just be the same again HELP!!

Re: Pulling Sensation In My Ear

Some people's ears are just very sensitive to motion or change in location (altitude, etc). Annoying but common. Some report that chewing gum helps avoid it. They used to pass out chewing gum on airplanes just for this reason....
