    Balloon Sinuplasty

Hello all! I'm new here, and I have a few questions about balloon sinuplasty, and I'm hoping someone can answer for me. I'm having a balloon sinuplasty in a week. I'm looking forward to the end of my sinus problems. However, I have a few questions for people who have actually had it done. I asked the nurse when she called to give me instructions, but I kind of want to hear it from someone who isn't trying to sell me on it.

    1. I have a wake the day of and a funeral the day after my procedure. Will I be feeling well enough to attend?

    2. Pain and recovery: How was the pain afterward? I'm getting valium, but I'm seeing people saying they took vicodin before hand. They didn't say anything about needing a strong painkiller. The nurse just said to take tylenol. I'm starting to get worried that just tylenol won't cut it. Should I ask for something stronger, or do I not need it?

    3. Did the procedure fix your issues?

    I appreciate any feedback!
