Is there a way

Heres the situation. I am a guy 6'1 147lb (dr says should be more like 200+) and had a ED for probably 6-7 years. I started out at around 320lb at 17 years old and after trying everything including Richard Simmons I got a bad case of food poisoning. During this I didn;t eat a whole lot and a lightbulb clicked food = lost weight. Long story short I ate next to nothing and shed my way down to around 180. After two hospitalizations for malnutrition related illness i pseudo-recovered, I us the word pseudo becase there was still alot of foods I wouldnt eat (and still wont out of fear). I was able to maintain a healthy fluctuation between 200-215 for a couple of years but about 6mo ago I relapsed in to my old patterns (again after bad bacterial food poisoning). Maybe it was the lax diet while i couldnt digest, not sure but between Feb 2011 and now Ive gone from 210 to 147 on a steady diet ofsaltine crackers and one powerbar a day with only water to drink (200-300 cal-ish per day). Spent 4 days in hospital for severe vitamin deficiancies again and was given a battery of tests which showed gallstones and chronic gastritis. Recently I started adding in steame rice and vegetables and that top ramen stuff for a total of around 700-800 per day (trying to raise it slowly). OK so heres where I'm at now 2 cup noodles (600 cal) and one powerbar (250 cal) with water and a multivitamin. But Ive developed REALLY severe cramps in the lower gut, gas, belching when i eat, nauseated, kind of a racing heart and hot flashes, and i'ts kind of painful to have a BM and i'm really gassy and my intestines burble alot after. Is this from the cloric raise? I do remember it from before but is there any way to alleviate it? Heating pads pain pills gas X nothing seems to work. I'm fine in the early day but around this time like 12-1am when im winding down for bed is when it gets really bad.

Hello El,

I was wondering if you have benefitted in the past from seeing a nutritionist.

It is recommended,as your body requires certain vitamins and nutrients to adequately function.

Whenever changing your diet regimen, expect your body to respond to it,for it's not out of the ordinary.

When in doubt, post it out.
