    Bulimia and thyroid

I am a recovered bulimic. During my 20s about at the peak of bulimia I had a tsh level of 6. I was put on a low dose (30mg) of armour thyroid. I didn't tell my dr at the time that I was bulimic. I've stayed on it since - around the time of my recovery I was diagnosed with anxiety and put on pristiq. Anxiety dissipated, as did my bulimia.

It's now 5-6 years later. I've stayed on armour out of habit. Tsh is around 2 now.

Would an ED cause my thyroid to get out of whack? And would full recovery for many years cause it to go back?

I have a young baby, so it's hard for me to get in to dr. Next time I see my OB I will ask her about this but thought I'd post here in case anyone had insight.

    Thank you!
