Endometriosis disappeared on Laparoscopy w/o it ever removed & symptoms still there

I had endometriosis diagnosed in May 2017 by laparoscopy. Iíve had symptoms my entire life and starting in January 2017 it got really bad. The surgeon took photos of everything and afterwards Iíve shown the photos to several different doctors, including doctors at the ER, hospitals, different OBGYNs, gynecological surgeons, and even other women with Endometriosis and everyone who has ever seen the photos confirmed the diagnosis and said it was definitely Endometriosis. I didnít have any biopsies taken when they did the laparoscopy surgery in May 2017 though, but based off the photos everyone confirmed it was definitely Endometriosis and that I definitely had a Chocolate Cyst on one of my ovaries too. The OB who performed my surgery in May 2017 didnít remove ANY of the Endometriosis and left all of it inside of me. All he did was diagnose it, photograph it, and then did an adhesiolysis and took down several adhesions (my abdomen and pelvis was PACKED full of dense adhesions).

This is the weird part... my pain has been worse and Iíve been suffering greatly so I decided to have a specialist (a different OBGYN than last time) perform another laparoscopy on me yesterday with a goal to remove all the Endometriosis (since none was removed before) and take down any new adhesions that may have reformed since last year.

The crazy part is, there was NOTHING there. He said it looks like I have never even had endometriosis. He said there were signs that I had adhesions taken down but there were no signs that I have ever had Endometriosis at all. He said sometimes if an Endometriosis lesion goes away, it will still leave a ďburn-likeĒ mark, but there wasnít even that. There was nothing. Even the ovary that has Endometriosis and the Chocolae Cyst look completely healthy and had no signs that anything was ever there. He said there was a very, very small cyst on my other ovary so he popped it to see if there was blood inside but there wasnít, it was only a clear fluid, so it definitely wasnít from Endometriosis either.

Does anyone know what is going on here or has had this happen to them? I donít know what to do here and if there is nothing there, what is causing all of these Endometriosis symptoms?!? And how am I supposed to ever get better?!?! Please, let me know anything that might help or if youíve gone through this yourself and have any ideas on what is going on here. I just want this pain to stop. And I have every Endo symptom, pain, pain thatís worse during periods, abnormal periods, pain during sex, everything, all the symptoms. What is going on with my body?! How do I get better?! Please help me anyone.
