    Endo possibly?

    Hello!

I'm an almost 47 year old mom of three kids. For the past five years have had very inconsistent periods (longer then shorter cycles) and VERY heavy. Super TMI, but very large clots. My prior GP just shrugged it off to aging. But, I moved from CA to WA a year ago and my new doc really listened and set me up for a gyno referral to get an ultrasound. However, it was cancelled due the beginning of the pandemic and I haven't had a chance to be checked. I will call my gp, but thought I'd see if these symptoms sound like Endo or something different?

Very heavy periods (like crime scene heavy) and varying cycle lengths
Extreme hip and leg pain at night, like keep you awake moving from side to side pain.
Some pain throughout the month, in the legs and hips and back
    Pain mid cycle in abdomen.

Thanks for your thoughts! I appreciate just knowing I'm not alone.

Sounds like peri menopause. You should be seeing a gyno annually. I strongly suggest you see one and get a physical. It may be something as simple as going on birth control to get this under control.

I agree hormonal and perimenopause. Endo is outside of the uterus...if you had abdominal excessive cramping and discomfort from ovulation till period, that is a possibility it's endo.
    You could request ultrasound.
