Question Drooling, pain in temple (left or right) and pain in ear (left or right)

Hi, I'm trying to find out if anyone has had the same symptoms that I've had for about four months.
In March I "blanked out" (while getting ready to eat breakfast) for about 5 seconds. I didn't fall; I guess I was just staring (maybe a petit mal seizure). After coming back to myself, my husband was wiping my shirt off because I had drooled on it. I have done this several times- usually two days out of a week and I have only had up to three in one day. Now it seems to happen on Tuesdays and Wednesdays for some strange reason.
I have also been feeling slight pain in my temple (right and then left- never at the same time) and in my ear (right or left).
I had an EEG a couple of weeks ago and it was normal. I am scheduled to have another EEG (to wear the recorder on a Tuesday and Wednesday) two weeks from now.
I had an MRI in October 2006. It was normal. I had the MRI because I was having slight shooting pains in my head. I no longer have them or the painful sinus headaches that I used to have (in 2006). I am 38 and I wonder if I'm going through menopause or if my sinuses have anything to do with this.
In spite of it all, I am trusting God for a complete healing.

It is possible even though all your test has come back normal,
that you could still have Epilepsy. But,my mother was having
problems like you described and a few times of fainting, and it
ended up being diabetes.I have read that low sugar can cause
    seizures.Just a suggestion.Good-luck

Re: Drooling, pain a temple (left or right) and pain in ear (left or right)

Thank you for your response Sherri5186. That might just be why I am having these symptoms.
I was diagnosed as having low blood sugar-hypoglycemic about 18 years ago~when I was 20. My mother was a diabetic and some of my family members have diabetes. For a long time, I've ignored the low blood sugar diagnoses because it wasn't diabetes and I felt like I was okay. I ate what I wanted and when I wanted. Now I know better.
I eat something (usually oatmeal) for breakfast and I have snacks and meals throughout the day. I also started 50mg of zoloft. I took it about eleven years ago to help with depression.
I am not depressed; I just thought it might help my brain in some way.
I cancelled my second EEG appointment today because I haven't "blanked out" in a couple of weeks. I do feel like I need another MRI or some other test that will show what's going on in my brain and body. Thanks again Sherri5186!

Smile I'm no longer having seizures!

I saw a specialist on October 31, 2007 and he prescribed 100mg of Topomax and I haven't had a seizure since; Praise God! I've also lost about twenty pounds, so that's a blessing too. The specialist sent me to Duke Medical Center after finding out that I had a small tangled up blood vessel (AVM) on my left tempral lobe that could have been causing the partial complex seizures. While there I found out that the AVM is not the type that will rupture. I am BLESSED!
