I have a sister who has had strange symptoms most of her life. She is 19 years old.

When it starts out, she will get very nausous and dizzy. She's always called it deja vu. It goes away after a couple of minutes.
Just lately, she's been getting it so bad that she will fall against a wall, or almost pass out. Her right hand has been going numb also.
What I am wondering is if she is having partial seizures or if it could be something else?

Re: Question
Being this is second hand, it's hard to formulate a reply. I doubt she would be willing to wear a "soft helmet" for head protection if what you say is true. They have to be willing or it's not worth the effort.

If it's always on her right side it could mean the seizures are occurring on the LEFT side of the brain (and not crossing over).

As long as she is seeing a neurologist out there (in SD most likely) thats the best you can do. Mason is about the same as getting to Minneapolis to the Neurology clinics there for distance (I had a friend that lives near Jackson MN :) ). I think even Omaha has a good Neurology clinic.
