I haven't read anything specifically about Chicken Pox having an effect on Epilepsy, but I know when I get sick in general (even if I don't have a fever), my seizure threshold is lowered and I get more seizures than usual. I read that it's because when you're sick, your metabolism speeds up so your medication levels are thrown out of whack. A fever increases this effect. Also, I think being sick, makes you more fatigued and that can also lower a person's threshold for seizures.
