A lot depends on what you have time for and what your activity level is now. Do you do your own grocery shopping, cooking, cleaning and/or yard work? All of that counts as physical activity. If you have the time, a good start would consist of walking, but don't overdo it. Start slowly, perhaps 10 or fifteen minutes in the early morning before work. If you can keep it up for a week or two, then you might think about increasing it a little more.
