Hungrier on rest days

Does anyone else get hungrier the day after an intense strength train? I am not really that hungry the days I strength train, but the day after I get ravenous. Is it because the muscles are healing?

Re: Hungrier on rest days

I not hungrier since I've been drinking protein shakes after my workouts. Are you really hungry or is it because you're not working out and maybe bored? I've found that when I'm bored, I eat. I get so bored on the days I'm not in the gym, but have found other things to keep my busy. But like the other poster said....if you are hungry, then eat, but make good choices. That might be your body telling you that you aren't eating enough.
