Tae Bo - Overweight/Obese (Question)

Hi, I am 5'5" and weigh 298. I am looking to lose around 100 plus pounds, and I wanted to do Tae Bo but I heard that it is way too complicated and hard for people who are very heavy. Do any of you know of anybody using it who is overweight/obese, and if you do, what kind of results did they accomplish?

Re: Tae Bo - Overweight/Obese (Question)

It's not really that complicated, but some of the moves require kicking and speed movements which may be tougher. You can do the best you can with them and still get a good workout, but an aerobics type video may be easier.
But your success is going to be 80% diet. Exercise definitely helps and gets the body moving and toned, but you absolutely must change your eating habits or you may never see a pound drop. All the exercise in the world won't compensate for a bad diet.
