While running i tend to run out of breath quickly..will just running more eventually help with this problem? This keeps me from running very long or far, my legs dont get very sore i just run out of breath.

Eventually your body will adjust.

This is similar to my experience doing push-ups. When I first started doing them, I was lucky to properly do 12-14. Now, after a couple of months, I can do 50 (though it is exhausting) in a row. Perserverance is the key.
