Muscles and Abdomen area question

Hello,
I have read on many occasions that shaving your chest and stomach (For a guy) accentuates the muscles in those regions. You always see celebrities in movies (All the ones with good looking midsections) who have their stomach and chest shaved. My question is how they do it? Is it just extra maintenance? they shave it once and have to continue shaving it (or wax) Or does the hair on the stomach and chest not grow back? For me, it does not seem as though the hair on my stomach and chest is growing anymore, so I don't see why it would grow back.

Thank you in advance.

Re: Muscles and Abdomen area question

It will grow back. That's what hair does.
You can shave which requires daily maintenance but is least expensive. Waxing is good for 3-4 weeks but is pricey if you go to a salon and kind of a pain to do on yourself. Depilatory creams are good for a week or two but can be hard on the skin and possibility of rashes on particularly sensitive skin.

Re: Muscles and Abdomen area question

So basically all the celebrities that do it require lots of maintenance? Also, if the hair grows back, why does it stop growing at a certain point (ie right now, its not longer growing) but upon being cut, begins to grow again?

Re: Muscles and Abdomen area question

You need a biology class for that.
Hair never stops growing. But body hair has a genetically predetermined length that it will grow to. Then, cyclically, it will fall out and regrow (or when cut).
