That's probably it then. You don't have to drink loads, but while you exercise, you sweat. And not drinking anything for over an hour before isn't helping. Take water with you and sip if you can. Or drink a little shortly before you exercise. 6-8oz will not make you have to go to the bathroom immediately afterward. It's MUCH more important to stay hydrated.
