Unhappy Big Bottom

How should i get rid of the fat in...well..in my bottom ?
I want to make it smaller without creating muscles there !! I mean creating muscles is ok as long as it's not getting even bigger.
Is there any help ??

I just read a similar post to yours under "Diet and Nutrition." Someone suggested Tae Bo tapes. I'm thinking of trying it-- swimsuit season is getting closer...

Alright. The only way you will gain muscle on your botton is if you eat enough and exercise right. Now by doing cardio and squats will do the trick. Have a high protein diet with moderate carbs and low fat.

If you're trying to gain weight, it's best to have a moderate amount of fat in your diet. Nuts are a good source of unsaturated (good) fat and have no cholestrol.

Yes i know but the thing is that i don't want to look skinny yet at the same time i don't want to have a fat botton which i have if i eat more than i should.
So what i'm trying to achive is to get some kind of balance between eating and exercising. My bottom is something i need to focus on a bit more because it's bigger than it should be. And i was afraid to do that because i know that usually when you exercise your muscles they just get bigger.

ok so let me get this straight you want everything else to get bigger except your butt. It's simply stay away from the following exercises: Squats, Leg press, Lunges, Deadlifts.. That's pretty much saying don't workout legs....

We're all missing the point here. If you want to tone your butt, do the squats and leg presses with lighter weight and higher reps. If you want to build, go heavy and lower reps to failure!
I would recommend 3 sets of squats, 3 sets of leg curl and keep the reps at 15 - 18 each to tone and slim as well as cardio like stairmaster or eliptical.

I think your missing the point. If you want to "tone" your butt you can do that but he's gonna have the fat on top of it. You will first have to concentrate on the fat then build up the muscle.

What you pointed out is good but higher reps can increase muscle size especially for legs my friend. The only way you build muscle is if you eat enough.

Goodness gracious me. I see why you're confused. I'm lost as well after reading all that. Ok, well at least i can sympathize with you, I have big butt as well. But here lately I've been able to shrink it quite a bit doing the following: i watch what i eat (not too much sugar, not too much fat), and i've bought a stationary recumbent bike- i ride that about 10-15 miles a night (its not that hard, really) you can get a good one at walmart. also i do a few toning exercises on my floor with a five lb ankle weight. this seems to be doing the trick. any of this help?
