Question I need excercises to strengthen my back

Hi, I have been having back pain lately, and I was wondering what excercises there were to strengthen my back. I don't really like to go to a gym, so any at-home options would be great.

Hi. My husband had a lot of chronic back pain. I bought an ab roller for myself to work out with, and he started using it to work on his abs. As it turns out, it also strengthened his back. As long as he is using the ab roller, he has no problems with his back.

Hi, I had problems with my back, and my work put me in front of the computer for long time, I discovered Yoga a year ago. Before that I thought that yoga was only for people with strong bodies, but it is not true. Try to find a good school/instructor
there are poses that make the abs and back stronger, and it is good for managing stress, it has been a long time I don't feel problems
with my back. ( A good instructor would teach you what exercise are good for that, there are limitations for some conditions but then, after a while you can overcome them). Now I am trying to include yoga as a daily practice

Hi,if you read in the back boards the post by Mary Anne: Help not good news from my discogram which was on 3/26/2001 my first response is on 03-24-2001. If your pain persists for more than 5-7 days and
that's with rest you should see a doctor.Also
to aid in the recovery process,try to eat more fruit and also take supplements this will help fight discomfort from the inflammation.
