Post Supersetting questions....

OK - excuse my lack of knowledge, but what exactly is supersetting? How do you accomplish this and when would you want to do this? And WHY?

Supersets are back to back exercises for one muscle group with no rest in between. It is most commonly used to SEVERELY fatigue the muscle to the end of gaining mass. Since it is a heavy fatigue, it is a method not usually employed at every workout, but is an excellent way you get over the hump of a plateau.
