Low Volume Training

Question Low Volume Training

Has anyone ever tried low volume training? I heard that is works well for any muscle that you want to bulk up. I have been trying it on my biceps and I think that I'm getting pretty good results. I do about 3 warm up sets, then 3 sets of 8 preacher curls (and that is absolute max to where your screaming), and 3 sets of 8 incline dumbell curl. Has anyone ever trid low volume training? If so what do you think about it?

6 sets for bis doesnt sound like low volume training to me. I dont really consider myself a low volume trainer, and i would never do more than 4 sets for bis.

For bis, 5 to 6 intense sets is what I do. I really don't believe in doing 10-20 working sets per body part like most lifters in the gym. I mentally and physically prepare myself for a few intense sets. Usually before I even hit the gym When I hit the gym, I don't even speak to anyone. I get straight to work and stay focused on the objective: attack bis. That's how serious I am about my work outs. Most people think I'm a jerk :/
