weight gain?

Post weight gain?

Im a 20 yr. old female. I've been lifting weights for a little over 2 months. Is it normal for me to already be gaining weight? I have gained a little and I know your not supposed to worry about what the scale says because muscle weighs more than fat, but I cant help it! How much weight should I expect to gain and how can I tell if it is really muscle Im gaining and not fat?

How much wight you will gain depends on height and your frame. To see if it is fat or muscle, use measuring tape and/or fat calipers. Are you lifting to get tone or are you looking to get some bulk?

I have been lifting to get tone not to bulk up. Any sugestions? I dont want to get real big. Im about 5'6 or 5'7 and I weigh about 123-125(if that helps any).

after 2 months you should definitely see some weight gain. Also some fat loss. Again... get a tape measure and/or a fat caliper if you cant tell the difference in the mirror.
