Rest day in workout regime.

Rest day in workout regime.


Here is how I have my workout schedule.

Day 1 - 30 Min cardio + 5-10 min stretch + 30-40 Min Resistance trng ( Legs + Abs).
Day 2- 30 Min cardio + 5-10 min stretch + 30-40 Min Resistance trng ( Chest + Triceps).

Day 3 - Break, no workout.

Day 4 - 30 Min cardio + 5-10 min stretch + 30-40 Min Resistance trng ( Back + Biceps).
Day 5 - 30 Min cardio + 5-10 min stretch + 30-40 Min Resistance trng ( Shoulder + Abs).

Day 6- Break, no workout.

Repeat the same pattern.

Is it a good idea to continue with current plan or continue doing cardio on Day 3 then full break on Day 6 only.. I have a feeling that the complete break on Day 3 and Day 6 is good. I don't want to feel fatigue, some times it happens. As mentioned in my earlier thread 65% of my goal is lose fat and 35% is to build muscle (In deed, it is even enough to maintain the muscles I have which are not that bad but the fat has covered it really well).
