circling the periphery
Sometimes when I get up after sitting I get about 2 or 3 moving objects on the periphery of my eyesight, it doesn't happen immediately it takes about 30 seconds or so.

They move in a circle but don't make it all the way around my field of vision, only about a quarter to a half way around and then disappear. They don't affect my vision, they only occur at the edge of my eyesight and only go in a circular pattern.

Anyone else experience this? Anyone know what's going on?

Re: circling the periphery
I have something similar if not the same. I see what looks like little white balls that go up and down in an arc at the far periphery of my vision. Doctors didn't see anything unusual on exam. I've been seeing this for years now, mostly in the dark.

My best guess is it's the liquified vitreous that moves when I turn my head side to side.

Re: circling the periphery
Hi Bleue,

I think that very well could be the same thing. I would describe them as being white or maybe beige and they move in an arc never lasting long enough to make a complete circle around my field of vision. Kind of strange.
