    Cataracts or something else

I went to my eye doctor for new glasses and she sent me to a retina specialist immediately as she thought I had a macular hole. The Retina doctor took images and said it is a pseudo hole. Which he said looked like a hole but it wasn't. I am struggling to see especially in certain places that have lots of light coming in from windows. I was told I have cataracts. Is this problem seeing from cataracts or should I go back to the doctor and if so which one? The specialist or the optometrist?

What vision is affected by cataracts anyway? I'm also on computers and my phone probably way too much.

Optometrist. You have to reach a certain size cataract and fail a vision test for insurance to pay for cataract removal. How old are you?

Cataracts are a normal part of aging. Go back to you optometrist and talk with him about the process.
