What's causing annoying glare and halos? My eyes are doing funny things lately. When I watch TV in a dark room, see bright light through a window, or look at other bright lights in a room, I see a lot of glare that I never noticed before. This all started about a week ago when I was at the mall and noticed that all the lights looked fuzzy and funny. I also am seeing halos around street lights at night. They're not multicolored, but seem to be an extension of the light itself. I've also had a headache for the past 3 days, right above my eyes and in my forehead region. I use computers a lot at home, work, and school--could this be causing the weird vision? I'm in my early 20's so I don't know what could be wrong with me. Diabetes? Cataracts? Brain tumor? I know I have astigmatism, but it's never really been a problem for me. |
Re: What's causing annoying glare and halos? IF you have no other symptoms, a visit to the optometrist might solve the puzzle. Our eyes change throughout our lives, but generally we keep 'em, 'for better or for worse.' ;) |
