Black Eye Wont Fade - - Please Help!

I unfortunately was involved in a fight, where I suffered from two black eyes. The swelling and major discoloration went away in about a week or two. No signs of fractures or broken bones. However, im in the fourth month and there is still dark discoloration there. I went to the doc and they said it will go away in time. However it’s been too long! I've used arnica, under eye creams, cucumbers, vitamin k, taking vitamin supplements and nothing has helped. It seems like the bruise is not healing and when I look in depth around the discolored area, I see tiny veins all around.

Note: I just got off a 6 month cycle of accutane - - can this decrease the healing process?

Anyone have similar problem? Any suggestions or advice ???

Im experiencing the same problem. I got punched nearly 2 months ago. The bruising went away in around 2-3weeks but I still have a dark spot almost like shadow bruising under my eye.

It makes me look like I have a dark circle under my eye from being tired. It makes me very self conscious!!

Is it normal for a black eye to take so long to heal/is there anything I can do to speed the process up?

A black eye that won't fade is a dermatology problem (not an eye problem). I got a black eye following eye surgery. The bruising did fade, but a brown spot was left. According to a dermatologist, this was the result of a blood stain deep in my skin--too deep for creams to penetrate. I was told that nothing but time would help. It's been over a year and I still have a small but visible brown spot under my eye. Fortunately, I can cover it with makeup.
