Blurry vision problem? HELP!!!!!!!!

I need some help if anybody can help me? I first noticed that my eyes were getting blurry around two years ago and I went to the doctor. It happened right after I was hit hard on the top of my head. The doctor did an x-ray on my skull and a vision check, which, both came out fine. I then ignored it for the most part, however, my blurry vision came back in a bad way around the beginning of the year. I'm in the military and I have to qualify on the M-16. I was able to aim for about 20 shots or so then everything starts to get blurry. I don't know if it's from focusing or what. I went to the optometrist about 3 weeks ago and he says my eyes are healthy and wants to do an MRI on my brain. He said that he's wanting it done to look for multiple slerosis or brain damage from getting hit in the head. I've already had blood work done to look for diabetes and it checked out good. I've also noticed that things have become harder for me to see things even when my eyes aren't blurry whether far away or close. I'm only 26 so this shouldn't be happening. Either way, here's my question. If my eyes are healthy, my blood work was good, and the MRI does come back good, what could cause this? Is it fixable? Has anybody heard or seen this problem before and if so what was the cause?

i also have blurring vision. It's better some days and worse others. But the blurriness always worsened as the day come to an end. In the morning, i can see the street sign from a block away (although still blurry). But at about 6 pm, i can't even see the street sign from half a block away. I am pretty sure my kind of blurriness is caused by muscles attached to the eye. so you may want to ask yourself if you have facial muscle spasms in the past. But now the muscles don't spasms anymore or maybe less.

Hi, I was on here looking for another symptom rapid flashing eyes and I ran across your post. I am dx with MS and I was dx with a clear (good) MRI. MS starts between the ages of 20-40. I am 53 but it is possible I was having symptoms before I was dx.

Are you having any other symptoms, like numbness, tingling, burning senstations, balance problems, weakness, memory problems? I have double vision and loss of acuity of vision. I also had blurry vision. I had my eyes look at a specialist and he said they were healthy. You need to see a neurologist. They would do a VEP or evoked potenials that would show any nerve damage to the eyes. My evoked potentials were abnormal for eyes and legs. I had optic neutris and leg weakness. There are other neurological diseases that can cause blurry vision. They would rule those out by a lot of blood work and other tests.

I am not trying to scare you or say you have MS or your don't have MS. I just want you to know it is very difficult to get diagnose for MS but just because you have a good MRI doesn't rule it out.

I hope that it is a very easy problem to fix.

Sinus swelling such as with infection or allergies can blur your vision. If you notice it on the range it can be a form of hay fever. Even if you never had allergies before they are cyclical and can appear at any time.

Sorry that it took me a while to reply to everyone. I was seen yesterday by a neurologist at a base south of us. He did a ton of tests and confirmed that I do in fact have MS. I also have Optic Neuritis though. From what he said they kind of go hand in hand, so I'll have to deal with both of them. Thanks for everyone trying to help me out.
