topography and corneal abrasion

Whhaaaa?? This is not a business of optometry forum. That being said, I'd say no. Why the hell would you do a topo on an abrasion?

Ok, sorry. I'd still like to know why the topography for an abrasion?

I had at least 3 done, 1st a few months after the abrasion as my vision was still impaired, again about 2 months later and then one when I went in for the consultation for the PTK for the RCE. The first was ordered by the optometrist doing my follow ups and then by my surgeon before the consultation. My insurance covered all of them.

I have to admit though, I was surprised to see the question, but then I don't know how Drs. learn all the ins and outs about insurance, of which there are so many.
