On Monday night, I was clipping my rabbits nails and a big chunk of his nail flew into my eye and got stuck in the white part of my eye. I went to the ER and all...and basically, my eye ball was scratched. I was given eye drops and eye wash to use and told to follow up with an eye doctor if it doesn't feel better. The pain is pretty much gone at this point, but my vision is still a bit blurry in that eye. Is that normal for being so soon after the injury or should I call and make an eye doctors appointment? The ER doctor said eyes heal very quickly. I'm just worried there may be some real damage to my eye. I've always had perfect vision.
Is this normal after a corneal abrasion?
