RGP lens glare
I've just starting wearing RGP toric lenses and am so far adapting to them well.
The only problem is that indoors I have halos around lights, and ghost images/glare around objects. Outdoors there are no problems at all, my vision is completely crisp and clear with the lenses. At first I thought the glare problems was a remainder of my moderate astigmatism, but why would that vanish outdoors?
I was told when I was getting a contact assessment that my pupils are quite large. I've read online that the glare can be caused by pupils that are so big the lens doesn't fit around them properly. Obviously outdoors my pupils shrink so the lens would then fit well and give me clear vision. Has anyone experienced this or have any knowledge of it? Are the extra large RGPs I've read about any more expensive than regular RGPs?
