    Odd question about my eyes

I've been wearing glasses for the last 15 years. I only use them for work and reading. I can see fine. At my last examination, the fella said my vision breakdown was: my left eye 80%, my right one 20%. This is due to a focus problem with my right eye. He said it wasn't bad enough to cause problems.

There is a problem though. I am a very keen golfer and after extensive study of my golf swing with camcorders and my pc, I have discovered that my vision causes problems with my golf game. I won't go into details but what I think would help would be if I had a spilt 50 / 50 vision in my eyes. I was just wondering if I could get some glasses with a very strong lense in the right eye and maybe a lense in the left that weakens my sight in that eye.

    Is this possible ?

I don't really fancy going into a shop and asking and making myself look like a fool. Of course I would only use these special glasses for golf and not reading.

Anybody got any comments ? Thanks !

Re: Odd question about my eyes

My left lens in my glasses is a bifocal one. The right lens is a balancing lens because I am blind in the right eye and don't really need anything in that lens.

Ask your doctor..anything is possible these days with glasses and contact lens.

    Take care,

    Johna
