    Retinal Detachment Post-Surgery Question

I had a victrectomy procedure done last week to reattach my retina. As the gas bubble is going down, I am noticing that my vision in my eye is really bad (I expected some degeneration), but more worrisome is that when I look at print or the computer, everything is now wavy. I have a follow up appt. on Tuesday and will ask about it then, but is that normal and if so, will it likely go away? I did not have any problems with waviness prior to the surgery.

    Thanks. - Bill
