I got an eye infection in one eye after a cold. I soon developed a bump on my upper eyelid. I had this for 7 months before finally going to have it lanced. The hot compresses seemed to make it angrier, larger, but never enough to burt and let it drain on its own.
The procedure was painless and took about 5 min. but I wonder if the doc got it all. He used a lance/scrape technique to the clogged gland. It's only been 2 days, but the bump is still there only smaller. I have a small bruise on the outside of my lid from the needle where he numbed my lid and I'm hoping my eyelashes where the bump grew to the size of a small pea, grow back.

I'll give it another month, but wonder if anyone else had experienced a different technique at the docs and what were the results?
