Question Howdy ... Burning pain part of fibromyalgia?

    Hey all,

Did anyone have burning pain that moved around the body as part of their fibro? I ask because I've been dealing with bouts of burning and aching in my arms, shoulders, legs, hands, feet etc for about 6 months. Before this, I'd had a couple of times a year when I felt achy all over for weeks or so. This lasted about 10 years I'd guess.

I'm currently pregnant and 38 and I'm really struggling with burning pain in my legs, particularly my left leg, currently.

My doctor has down my CBC and tested for auto-immune, lyme and arthritis and everything has come back negative. I think she thinks that my anxiety (which is persistent and severe) is the root of my pain.

Any input or experience would be appreciated!

The burning has always been by far the worse part of Fibro for me, especially in flare ups, the more muscle pain i feel the more severe burning pain i experience. My spine, neck and hip and legs is where i feel it the most.

Oh wow, you are speaking my language!! Had to call in sick to work today due to the burning pain I experienced last was just so so intense...I can't tell if it was just side effects from the antidepressant or if it's from the fibro. I'm new to this, not entirely convinced that it's what I have! I feel so scared sometimes!

My daughter has this particularly in the shoulders but it does move around. Unfortunately, she has not been able to find any things that has helped relieve the burn except wait until it decides to stop.

I have extremely bad burning pain. One day I might have it on my cheek and the next time it will be my arm. It's so odd. No rash or redness, no swelling. It's like the worst rug burn you can imagine without the rash. I have it right now from the inside of my arm all the way up the side of my neck, part of my chest, face and back of my head. It's much better then it was a week ago, but still quite irritating. I have never been able to find anything that helps with the pain. It must be sucky being pregnant and going through all that.
