    "Buzzing" after exercise

    Hi Everyone-
I can't tell you enough how much I appreciate knowing that I can come to this board and express anything without feeling bizarre!
I have been noticing for a while that after I walk and/or run on the treadmill I get this strange vibration/buzzing sort of feeling on my across my left chest. Of course, the anxiety part of me always fears that there's something wrong with my heart! But I had a stress echocardiogram last year and they it was fine. Could it just be my muscles "twinging"...but why just on the left? OH- the joy!

    hi latte,
i get the same thing. seems to me it started out in one place but over the years has spread to all of me. i think it comes from my brain. since it does not happen all the time i just breath my way thru till it eases. i know i forget to breath fully when i exercise and that causes an overload of the gasses used oxygen creates, inside me, tripping the switch in my brain to send the alarm, again. brain often wonders if lungs will ever get it right without help, giggle.
it is weird, isn't it? our bodies are such a trip.

    Re: "Buzzing" after exercise

    Hi, thought I'd chip in...
For me, I've experienced this type of symptom (many times) in my brain, ears, scalp and facial muscles, still do occasionally. I've, knocked it down to Neurological symptoms (from FMS/or CFIDS/ or from the neurotoxins) in my body. However, I could be wrong

In the past, its been all over from head to toe, when I've pushed myself far beyond. Interesting, (hmm) it would happen, when I was real sick w/fatigue symptoms, not from exercising, bc just standing was too much for me.

It's like my brain is sending the message, I've gone past the point of no return. My whole body fatigues, it starts to buzz, then tremors start, and I'm done! One time, I went to the ER, thought I might need oxygen , the doctors there couldn't help me...all they said was, "where just ER've come to the wrong place, you need a specialist to help you." Thank goodness it passes! Luckily, I haven't experienced it all over for quite a few months.

Perhaps, the good news is the long term treatment I'm on of supplements, antibiotics, and meds is working to help treat the symptoms and underlying cellular infections and Candida Yeast. All I know is my energy is up, I'm able to work the treadmill or walk around town, use the strengthening equipment at the gym overseen by my PT, plus...

I too, breathe very shallow, and if not concentrating, totally tummy goes in when I breathe in and out when I breathe out. It should be the other way around...tummy should rise when breathing in and should go flat when breathing out PT is working on training me to breathe properly. If I can ever get it down muscles and tissue will be getting their much needed oxygen.

    Hi, bluelakelady, miss u!

    best wishes, uvm

Latte, I used to get the "buzzing" thing in my bladder. It would come and go throughout the day and some days I wouldn't even have it. Talk about a strange sensation. I had it off and on for almost a year before it went away. Doctor told me it was part of the fibro. I guess it was, but it sure was weird.

I don't necessarily get the buzzing thing but I get tingly and numb and also dizzy after walking my 2 mile walk. Wonder if it is the same?

    Re: "Buzzing" after exercise

I looked up buzzing because for the past week or so I seem to feel it across the right side of my chest after exercise. I know that your post is from this winter. I was wondering if you ever found out what it was and did it go away.
