    Question Iodine & Iodoral

Ok I am confused with all this information that is out there! There is something new each week.

Has anyone ever used iodoral or iodine to help with the fibromyalgia pain or brain fog? Any info on this topic would be helpful

Thank you all for your help & support

Never hear of Iodoral. Iodine yes, if thyroid is sluggish which may accompany fibro. Pls post what you heard/read.

    Re: Iodine & Iodoral

I was sent a little while back to a doctor who helps with fibromyalgia. She started me on a yeast free diet & then gave me a Cocktail of injections for 6 weeks she had mentioned somthing about fibro people having low thyroid issues and recommened that I try iodine well seems how the injections did not work & she seemed to be to busy to take time to talk to me durring this whole process I decided not to worry about the thyroid bu the more I look in to it there really could be a connection. I would like to try it but I am tired of trying all this stuff & nothing working. I am at my whitts end So anyways that is where I heard about iodine. Thank you for your help & support I am greatful for you all

    Re: Iodine & Iodoral

I urge you to go to your Dr (or one who has time to talk to you) and have your thyroid tested along with your Vitamin B12 and D levels. My hair was falling out, I had issues with my gums, extreme fatigue, body aches, brain fog...I am now on Synthroid, B12 injections and 50,000 units of Vit D. I can feel a huge difference since I started replenishing these levels. You might not think any of these 3 could do much damage, however, they are all very important and can create a myriad of other problems if they are low. My B12 and D were so low, it was almost non-existent. Good luck.

    Re: Iodine & Iodoral

i was told to go on iodine (iodoral) but I can't find Iodoral... not even on the internet... I'm really confused... is iodoral a typo for indoral? The person who told me is very very smart and I wouldn't think he'd make a mistake so, what is IODORAL? Thanks
