Exclamation Flexor Hallucis Longus Tendinitis Surgery

    Hi all

I was diagnosed with FHL Tendinisit around 1 year ago and tried all non operative treatment. All failed and then I had a surgery around 1 month ago. However, still I have pain. I need someone who had this surgery before but I am not able to find anyone. Has anyone had this surgery before?

Is it normal to have pain that is increasing after 1 month? and Can anyone tell me that there is an average like for example "within 2 months after surgery, having a pain is normal or not".

    Thanks

I did not have this surgery but sympathize with you. Lots of people have read your post and hopefully someone has yet to read it who can help. Meanwhile, you should ask your surgeon if this is normal. That might be a better first step to take.

Thank you! I already asked but the problem is I didnt have a surgery in the country where I am living. Therefore, still waiting for his reply but I lost all of my patience as I have been suffering for 1 year. All patients want to feel better after a surgery. Increasing pain makes me sad and angry.
