I think my peroneal tendon is aggravated

This began two days ago. Slight tingling, odd feeling. Would using an ace bandage be wise?
Discomfort gone in the morning, comes back after walking a bit.

I came to my diagnosis by looking at anatomical charts.

no clue whats going on with you but i had a brostrum type repair with peroneal and its cover 13 months ago.

i remember the bad shooting pains that would go up my leg when my joint would pop out. weeks of shooting pain after surgery as well, probably from being agitated.

to this day one of the things that lingers is dull ache along that same path. and the area underneath outside ankle bone will get pinching pains and what i have been told is like fluid and swelling. annoying for sure, but luckily this far in recovery i do not feel like it is a structural issue if that makes sense.

all i can do is apply topicals and take advil i was told with rice and to stick to a routine before and after exercise.

in my limited experience so far for the knee and ankle they make compression type bandages you pull over and into place. they are tight but you dont' want to cut off the circulation. surprisingly i have got the feeling that they keep things in place and help a bit with swelling during activities.

i get lazy myself when i am not wearing my lace up brace during risky activity.

these braces are way easier and uniform to wear than wrapping up an ace bandage and i like how they feel more myself.
