    tight Brostrom Repair

In 2013, I had a Brostrom repair that is too tight and that is destroying my ankles--and my life. I had a torn ATFL, and, after receiving a slick sales pitch from a celebrated Pittsburgh ankle surgeon, I had a Brostrom repair. Several medical practitioners told me that the surgeon overtightened the CFL. Now my Achilles tendons bilaterally have extensive damage; my pereonal tendons are getting damaged; my AFTL and CFL bilaterally are painful; I am in extreme pain most of the time; and I can walk about 1 minute. (I was an avid cyclist going into the surgery.) Has anyone else had a similar experience? What can be done to loosen an overtightened Brostrom repair?

    Thank you,
