Posterior Tibial Tendon Surgery/Nerve Pain
I bit the bullet and had a PTT Transfer as well as a Calcaneal Osteotomy on April 14th 2016. I am currently 2 weeks out and feeling pretty well. I am a 39 yar old male who was pretty active before the procedure. I was in very intense pain for 3 days after surgery. The hydrocodone was making me sick so I tried some new pain management (Quercetin combined with Vitamin C). May pain level went from a 10 to a 2 overnight. I have been mostly pain free the past two weeks until a few days ago. Basically, as I sit here I feel good but all of a sudden.....this sharp pain comes on and lasts for about 5-10 seconds. It then disappears for a few minutes before coming back. This cycle keeps happening and feels like someone has a wire attached to my heel, giving me a shock every few minutes. Could this possibly be nerve pain? I have complete feeling and no numbness in my toes and foot. It is REALLY annoying!!!!!
