10 days post op FDL Transfer

I had an FDL transfer 10 days ago and I am still in lots of pain. I was able to switch over to Tylenol and advil after a week but I am still in a substantial amount of discomfort. I am a bit confused as to why this has been so painful. I only had an FDL transfer which isn't a lot. This is my third surgery on this foot and it has been the most painful. It hurts a ton to have my foot down and I can feel the splint touching the incision which is super painful!!! I am planning on returning to school on Monday and I'm just nervous because it is Saturday and I still can't have my foot down! Just wondering - is this normal and is there anything I should be doing?
