Need help interpreting MRI results
I have a solid mass on the inside of my left ankle. I had an ultrasound that basically stated it was a mass measuring 1.4x1.8x1.1cm with smooth margins. I had an MRI yesterday that doesn't give much more detail but I don't know exactly what to think of the results. I would like to know if anyone can give me an idea what this means.

Findings: A fairly well circumscribed, mildly lobulated solid enhancing mass (9.2mm transverse x 12.5mm AP x 12mm craniocaudad) is present in the deep subcutaneous tissues along the posteromedial aspect of superior portion of ankle. It is located just posterior to the underlying medial ankle tendons. There is mild surrounding soft tissue edema.

Conclusion: Medial side subcutaneous swelling with an underlying solid enhancing lobulated mass in the deep subcutaneous tissues. Based on MRI characteristics this is nonspecific. This does correspond to the palpable abnormality basked on skin marker placement.
