Exclamation full body chronic pain and discomfort in a teen

    hi all,

im a flat footed high school track short sprinter who runs 100m x 4 relay and the individual 100m race. i started track two years ago and started getting a lot of injuries early into season. i remember vividly that i got shin splints a week in, which persisted till halfway through summer after a lot of rest. in addition, i started experiencing an extreme achy feeling in my feet and lower posterior calf whenever i ran, be it the weekly mile runs or track run workouts. to this day, i still experience this phenomenon to this day.

fast forward to my second year in track. i got shin splints three days into season despite going to preseason and gradually increasing how much i ran. at this point my pain was bad enough that i had to tell coach that i would not be able to complete all workouts fully. i started spending half of practice with our school PT to do rehab, which never really helped. however, quarantine hit.

i kept running two months after quarantine in hopes that we would go back to school and track would resume. after realizing that it was not going to happen, i stopped running but continued dancing. i prefer choreography with krumping and hiphop, which take more upper body. a month after i stopped running, i started getting shoulder pain, possibly due to excessive computer use. this may have also caused neck pain which led to chronic headaches as well. however, i practice diabolo, which stresses my shoulder a lot too due to the tricks i practice a lot. a month later, i halted all physical activities because of the severity of the pain i was experiencing and the snowball effect of that on my mood made me start to spiral out of control. luckily, i found a healthy coping mechanism in time.

when school started again, i started seeing an acupuncturist who also does tuina massage. originally i went to him for help with my shoulder, and after half a year of it, i have persistent upper back pain near my left shoulder blade. for some reason, the ribs on my right side now look strangely out of place, as they seem to we protruding at an abnormal angle compared to those on my left side.

i still have what i suspect is posterior tibial tendonitis due to the location of my pain as well as possibly chronic compartment syndrome due to achy and sometimes numb feeling i have in my feet at any given time which gets worse when i exercise.

    please help.

any opinions? what should i try to relieve these symptoms? i already apply the RICE method whenever I can and even when i took a break, it caused a host of other problems that are chronic. should i look for a specialist?
any suggestions are appreciated! please let me know if i should clarify something or give more details!
