Toe Surgery...mainly done on people with hammer toe.

I am having toe arthroplasty surgery on my little toe in two weeks, due to chronic dislocation. I was wondering if anyone has had this surgery done, and what post surgery is like? I am also wondering what the baby toe will be like with a part of the bone missing. I am told it will be shorter and more flexible. I would love to hear stories from others.

Thank you!

I had 2 hammertoes fixed when I had my bunion surgery. I don't think he removed some of the bone, I think he just stretched the tendon.
