Thank you Pmowa for the suggestion of a roll-about. I had never heard of that. I had a difficult time finding one to rent but eventually did and have it reserved for my surgery in two weeks. I just don't think crutches are going to work for me...no upper body strenth. I appreciate and welcome any other suggestions. Wishing everyone the best. Becky
