Re: Maggitaz-nitroglycerin patch
HI FQ man
Seems like tendon problems have been with me for a long time. I was seeing an ortho. that specializes in foot and ankle and is well known in the maryland area. Anyway, they said that it was somewhat experiemental and they found out where the study had been done and found out what the dose should be and away I went. Well, it did work. The ankle is not 100% but then I don't think that it will ever be 100%. I applied a 1/2 patch to my right ankle where the pain was on a daily basis. I used them for a few weeks. The amount was .1MG/H. It was called nitroglycerin transdermal system. The idea was to bring blood flow to an area that has poor blood flow and this would promote the healing. Hope this helps and good luck.
