    how are pins removed after hand surgery

    how are pins removed after hand surgery and how much does it hurt do they numb it in anyway

    If they are sticking out the skin you just twist them a little to loosen them up and simply slide them out. Usually not painful at all. If they are buried under the skin then the skin needs to be numbed up to get to the pins and then the same technique is used to get them out. They aren't threaded so they are smooth and should come out fairly easy and painlessly.
