walk without crutches after midfoot fusion

I was non-weight bearing for 6-8 weeks (in a cast) and then partial wb for the next 6-8 weeks in a boot. I got rid of my crutches gradually and probably was done with them by the 3-4 month point. I also had lots of pt after the surgery.

It depends on exactly what procedure you had done and how quickly you fuse. The surgeon will let you know when you can transition back to walking, based on your x-rays. I think Diane's experience is pretty typical.
