what can i do for pain after a lisfranc injury

i am in highschool and i got hurt three months ago during track practice with a lisfranc injury. i went to the doctor and although i didn't need surgery on it it still hurts alot. cross country season is starting up again and it still hurts to run on it, three months later. is this normal? will it ever stop hurting? please help. thanks
