Best Boot etc

Hello,
Hello,

I appreciate the information on this board because my doctor's office does not return calls. I had bunionectomy/osteotomy on large left with hammertoe surgery on small toe--same foot--one month, two days ago. There is no way I can walk at this point. I do ice and elevate. I've gotten a lot better at crutches but need to be more mobile. What are the best type of boot to wear. I've read about the air boot, the wedge. I wonder could someone mention the type and brand that really works for them. (Maybe I could start cleaning my house)

Also, my toe is still crooked which disturbs me quite a bit. Shouldn't it be straightened out?

Thanks for any input!

Margan
